Since 2007, the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center has been a Business Incubator for startup companies looking to make their mark on the world. We are designed to meet the needs of expanding businesses and offer private office spaces, large office spaces (550 sq. ft.), and Wet Labs. Peoria NEXT also offers Affiliate Memberships for companies that need a mailbox and internet access, but are not currently in need of a private office.
The research laboratories at Peoria NEXT are the only Wet Labs for supporting startups in a 90-mile radius.
Our collaborative environment allows you to share knowledge and resources with fellow researchers, inventors, and entrepreneurs looking to transform new technologies and innovations into thriving enterprises.
Its not just space – we offer substantial entrepreneurial support individually and through our community partners.

Chris Youngmark
Director
In March 2024, Mr. Chris Youngmark became the Director of the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center.
Chris brings entrepreneurial experience as a business owner, previously the assistant director of the Illinois SBDC at Bradley, and community navigator for the State of Illinois Dept of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Chris manages the overall operations of Peoria NEXT and enjoys facilitating the commercialization of the region’s incredible technology and mentoring business owners and students. Chris is dedicated to supporting the Peoria Next family and the Central Illinois entrepreneurial ecosystem!

Karen brings 15+ years of organizational knowledge to Peoria NEXT. Her friendly and familiar face is a cornerstone of the day-to-day operations for all tenants and visitors of the innovation center.
